Big XII schools don't sponsor very many sports.

Oklahoma State and Texas Tech sponsor 14. Kansas State sponsors 15. WVU, Kansas, Baylor and Iowa State sponsor 16. Heck, Texas only sponsors 18. Oklahoma and TCU sponsor 19.

Compare that to the ACC where Miami is at 17, Syracuse and Wake Forest are at 18, and everyone else is 19 or above. Several are in the 25+ range.

These conference networks have to rely on the non-football, non-basketball sports to have content to show on the network live. A handful of football games and basketball games won't carry the network.

I know that the Big XII wants a network, but what are they planning to show on it with only 10 teams and very limited athletic events because they don't sponsor them? That's before even discussing the limited population in the Big XII geographic footprint outside of Texas.
