I agree with you on much of this and it's very well thought out. I believe that the ACC basically sold the tournament to ESPN (in what capacity I'm not sure but at least the sponsorship of it) a couple of years ago, so that may be a challenging aspect. The part that concerns me is the issues between Comcast and the satellite companies that you referenced. I didn't realize that. I think that may be a deal breaker and why the ACC is staying with the ESPN option/possibility longer. If you think about what's happening with the PAC 12 network, they are struggling mightily and one of the reasons is because they can't get a favorable deal with Directv. I like NBCSNs production quality (mostly the legibility of their graphics display/sports layout, whatever you call it) more so than FOX, particularly when I think about the FoxSports South's of the world, etc., so I'd prefer them all things being equal but if FOX can negotiate a better deal or at least A deal with the satellite providers then maybe we should look in that direction instead. That direction would certainly hurt us with acquiring Texas and definitely would be an obstacle with ND as compared to Comcast so there are negatives to dealing with FOX as well. All that considered and I now I see why the ACC might be hanging on with the possibility of ESPN this long.
