VT would probably be better off taking the 2 million per year. ESPN doesn't have to do anything. The only thing that MIGHT get ESPN to move is for their to be a serious threat of the ACC breaking up. Remember, ESPN was involved last time the ACC was about to dissolve. However, ESPN doesn't have the cash it had a few years ago.
