Re: Is there a scenario on who jumps first??

Much to disagree with here. You say that if Oklahoma and Kansas leave the Big 12, that it beaks up the GoR. Why? How? The whole idea of the GoR is that if a school changes conferences, their original conference still owns their media rights BECAUSE they are party to the GoR. The GoR actually comes to life when a school changes conferences.
Also, where does the notion come from that the ACC can invalidate their contract with ESPN if the ACCN doesn't happen? From the very beginning of that contract we read endless reports that if ESPN didn't launch the network, their penalty would be a $2 million increase in the per team anual payout. I can't cite a source, but why all of a sudden is the penalty believed to be annullment of the media deal?
ESPN is dragging their feet on the ACCN because: 1. The carriage revenue is projected to be "iffy", and 2. they don't want another sports outlet showing fb games in competition with their current properties. If they don't want an ESPN-owned ACCN, they certainly won't sell the content to a competitor who might want to build an ACCN.
