Trying to wrap my arms around how the ACC can work around...

the LHN and ND's NBC contract when other conferences couldn't/can't. Texas and ND have the most saavy leadership of all the P5 universities IMO. Scares the hell out of me having just one of them as a full ACC member. Both as members scares me more. Their terms and conditions set upon the ACC in their favor would be mind-boggling.

To me, schools like Tech and Pitt are serfs in the ACC, just following along and toeing the line in ACC decission-making. BC and GT aren't much different, but on occasion express a forceful opinion. If Tech feels subservient today, imagine what it will be like obeying every wish that ND and Texas will impose on the ACC, not to mention the heightened attention that will have to be given to the NC mafia and FSU to appease them.

Tech and Pitt have the smallest voices in the ACC IMO. We (Tech) had to force our way into the conference. I think we'll pay for that for years to come. We are the Michigan State of the ACC (ha ha). Even Syracuse and UL were making demands and getting snippy in just their first year in the ACC.

You're one of the guys who's always on top of it and can see things coming when the rest of us can't. If you're right about Texas and we get ND in full as you've been saying, it expect Tech to struggle to find its voice with the big boys calling the shots.

Gotta stop writing and focus in the Wake game... LeDay is hitting 3s again (ha ha)
