Re: In regards to the ACC standings, what constitutes a successful season for

From what I've seen of this season's team, we'll have a conference record anywhere between 6-10 and 9-7.

I see 4 home wins (Clemson, NCSU, GT, and Pitt) and maybe another 2 home wins over ranked Miami or over Duke. I expect Tech to play well at home.

My concern is playing on the road. Notre Dame, FSU, and Miami are most likely in the loss column. UNC, UVA, and Wake are more winnable. Our last 2 road games haven't been encouraging. Both Louisville and Syracuse will be in the NCAA Tournament. UNC and Duke don't look a strong as they normally are. I'll be happy to split with UVA. An 8-8 conference record puts Tech at 20-9. A 6-10 conference record puts us at 18-11. That win at Tennessee might help get an 18-11 Tech team into the WNIT. A 20-9 record might get us in the NCAA's with the Tennessee road win and playing in the tough ACC. I'd be very happy with a WNIT invite.
