20 minute attempt at a VA duals preview

Hokies have a super easy road this year to the final (compared to other pools). Biggest test will be for injured wrestlers Mastriani and Brascetta. If theyre healthy, we sweep through this pretty easily (sounds as if they both may not be ready). Other storylines include Dennis' potential return to the lineup and Gabel's first matches back. We should blow out Citadel and i expect to see austin in that match if he's healthy and read to roll.

Bucknell - Solid team, that gets a PA stud at some weights. Wrestlers to watch are:
125 Petrov, a really scrappy top 10 wrestler in this weight class. I have no fear Joey will handle him as he's done in the past, but probably bucknells best stud.
141 Smith, sophomore wrestler from powerhouse school franklin regional in PA. starting to get some shine and approaching getting ranked.
149 Lopez, under the radar guy, with a good record. Sal at full strength could probably handle him, but scary upset match if the high ankle sprain persists.

Citadel - Not much to challenge the hokies here. Usually a good year for the citadel is to place one AA. Wrestler to watch are:
157 Walker, The one true stud in the lineup, probably flirting with top 25 rankings. Close losses to a lot of top guys, and a good benchmark for brascetta's health.
197 Haas, Good but not great, had a solid midlands tourney for the 197 lb depth. Looks to score in bunches based on results posted. Solid test for Haught who's clearly stepped up in the first half of the season.

Guessing Rider- Rider's similar to bucknell in that it pulls a lot of local NJ an PA talent. Also has a few studs, including a very good Walsh and Clagon. Overall the level of their roster is quite a bit higher. Far less matches where our boys are OVERWHELING favorites. Wrestlers to watch:
149 - Clagon, has had a very up and down year, but pulled 6th at Midlands. When he's on, he's top 10 caliber. Another very good test for sal.
157 - Walsh - the latest of the Walsh clan. Very good wrestler from NJ, who like his brother has a sick headlock that he can seemingly throw from just about anywhere. Will be a very good match between him and nick.
165 - Brennan, coming off some huge momentum from a 3rd place finish at midlands. Great test for mcfadden.

Not gonna guess at ODU ISU ASU. One thing to note, ISU's roster is vastly changed headed into the new semester with suspensions and academic probation returns. They are much better than the first week of the season.
