I'm not sure who is available that would be a top half team.

Unless the ACC added teams from the top half of the Big XII, I'm not sure who could fit that role of coming in and consistently beating Florida State or Clemson in football. Penn State might be able to do that, but I'm not sure about that right now.

Navy would have company with most anyone left for the ACC to invite. UConn and Cincinnati would be about the same in football. Their advantage would be basketball.
