Texas AD Perrin discusses 6 team playoff.


I had thought about having 5 with a wild card game between 4 and 5. But this is a reasonable possibility if the 5 major conferences remain. There would be the 5 P5 conference champions plus the best of the G5 to round out six. That way no one will have a gripe about being left out other than independents which all need to get in a conference anyway. There are only 3 involved.
