In the course of my annual physical yesterday, my MD and I discussed

the omicron virus. His take, given that omicron was first noticed in early November and first reported clinically in the third week of November, it appears to more resemble the "common" cold than delta variant(s) or Covid-19. That SM has made a mess of this virus to him shows how irresponsible the medical community has been in not wrangling the reporting away from FB, Twitter and MSM.
