expectations set for each program. When’s the last time the men or women’s soccer team won the ACC Tournament? Have they ever won the ACC Tournament? Look at the Clemson football and UVA Men’s basketball programs. Each program won multiple ACC championships over the past decade prior to eventually winning their respective national championships. As of right now, I believe Women’s softball has the best chance at winning a national championship, with the Men’s wrestling team not too far behind. I agree it’s frustrating, but we need to lockdown our conference first and consistently win ACC Tournaments on a regular basis, before thinking we’re going to win it all.
