The team we got blown out by lost 8 or 9 players off


their coach's first team, their coach is in his SECOND year at Wake and they made us look terrible. We have a lot of potential and CMY is still the right guy for the program as best I think anyone can say, but we didn't lose to Wake because we're rebuilding, we lost because we played AWFUL basketball, and they played like a team that doesn't have "rebuilding" in their vocabulary. It is just one game, but our tougher schedule - and i am glad we have one - is showing our weaknesses early and often. In typical fashion, we're not as good as we thought we were going to be, and we're probably not going to be as bad as the last 4 games seem to be hinting at. But...we don't need to be making excuses, we need to be making progress.
