But media reports/guesses are that it isn't that high. His salary from the school is only $2.67 million (that comes from tax forms) and before he got his new deal in 2020, it was $1 million less.

That's less than Fuente got the day he set foot on campus.

Brian Kelly gets some other stuff that doesn't come from the school - from their media deal and the like - but even if that's an extra $1 million, he is still making less than Justin Fuente.

If LSU is willing to throw SEC money at him ... why wouldn't he listen?
