My honest opinion - I'm not sure he was a good fit for a team like Florida


they have super-high expectations and he couldn't deliver fast enough. VT is similar to MSU (frankly, VT has better stadium, facilities, bigger alumni base, and potentially more $$$) than MSU, and he did very well at a program which only has a ceiling of 8 wins/season in that crazy division. If given time at a place like VT, I think he could get 9-10 wins and wouldn't be under immediate pressure to get to the playoffs like 1/2 the SEC or bigger programs would demand.
