A few counters:

Utilize more players in bringing the ball to half-court. We did that at times successfully with Alleyne, Cattoor, and Mutts. But far too often, the burden was on Murphy alone. I'd plant Murphy near half court sometimes as a safety valve. Once half court is attained, get it to Storm to get the offense in motion. I'm sure there are other ways to manage those first 10 seconds as well.

Trust Pedulla to sub in. CMY said in pregame that he wanted to get to his bench, but he might need to be pushed to do it because he could see himself locking into the starters too long [paraphrased]. He was right. That's exactly what he did. Pedulla will screw up, but he also will gain vital experience. The Pedulla in game 5 was much better and confident than the Pedulla in game 1.
