Not trying to hijack, but the dad of a friend I've had since I was 7


passed away over the weekend.

Due to a combination of Thanksgiving being this week, Covid, and his dad's own wishes, they didn't have an actual funeral. Asking people to travel from all over the country (lots of family still in Michigan...he lived in NC) during the holidays just didn't feel right to the family.

I honestly wasn't sure if the funeral business was "back to normal" yet or not.
