PSA for any southbound I-81 drivers headed this way or beyond...


81 is still a nightmare at Chilhowie. Bridge work is a mess at Exit 35....left lane is closed. Even when not working the lane is closed.

I've seen traffic backed up beyond Exit 39 at Seven Mile Ford...long delays. Getting off at Marion or Seven Mile Ford on Rt. 11 (Lee HWY) isn't a lot better. Lots of construction on 11 too. There is also road construction in Chilhowie.
