2 biggest knocks against him, 1) hired Grantham 2) antagonism to recruiting


If you don't like recruiting at Florida, a place where you actually can land multiple 5-stars and a boatload of 4-stars every year (Spurrier, Meyer), imagine how much you'll hate it at Virginia Tech, whose best recruiting years were like 1 5 star every 2-3 years and maybe 8 4-stars per year.
