Other than Bama (and Georgia) and Vandy, SEC schools hire and fire coaches
like it's a bodily function. How many different coaches has Florida had in the past 20 years since Spurrier left? Including the Meyer era (6 years), interim coaches and assuming the new coach gets named this calendar year, eight. EIGHT! Muschamp was a bad hire of course, but most SEC fans are crazy and unreasonable and won't give a coach more than 3 years to become Alabama. How can ANY coach gain momentum in this kind of environment? Simply a crazy environment where only a once in a generation coach can succeed.
