...but what I haven't seen is a study about R0 for vaccinated people vs. R0 for unvaccinated people. Vaccinated people may not display symptoms and may recover quickly, but studies have shown that they can carry the same viral load as a vaccinated person, so my question is - how many vaccinated people are walking around feeling relatively normal and unknowingly spreading SARA-CoV-2? For all we know, vaccinated people may be just as "dangerous", despite having a smaller window during which they are contagious.

As you say, there is currently no vaccine to prevent the acquisition of SARS-CoV-2, but for some reason, the quarantine protocols are being handled as if the current shots being administered serve that purpose. In many cases, vaccinated people are not required to quarantine after exposure to a known case of COVID. I believe that is simply because authorities are trying to use that distinction as an incentive for more people to decide to get vaccinated. I heard on the radio just this morning that public health officials are urging parents to get their children vaccinated as soon as the authorization is approved for children, and one of the reasons given was "because vaccinated school children are not required to quarantine after an exposure." It's stupid, inconsistent policies like this that make a lot of people question the true motives and remain hesitant to receive a shot.
