a huge impact at all levels, but especially high school. They can convince kids who wouldn't otherwise play to come out for the team and can also make good players great. I'm pretty sure Blacksburg's state championship coach left for a bigger program out-of-state and the program has not been the same since he left. The talent probably isn't as good either, but a good coach should still be able to have a competitive team.
