Eggnog question: Should I use coffee infused rum instead of reg. dark rum?

Is that too all over the place w/ flavors? Bourbon, fireball (vt90 kudos) and then either dark rum or coffee infused are the liquors. To help the safety using 116 proof wild turkey rare breed this year.
