Virginia DMV question. Does a co-owner need to be present when registering


a car? I'm going to register my dad's old car and I was going to throw my wife on the registration but I can't find anything that says she will need to be present at the DMV with me. I've got my appointment at 11am and she won't be able to make it. Can I just have her sign the document and provide copies of her ID/documents?
