Virginia Beach hits you w/a 10% penalty for being one day late & if you do


Not read the bill closely it will trick you because in small print it says you owe this amount by this date or you have to pay 10% more after this DATE the second date is in a bold shaded box which lead me to believe that was the date it was due. It’s not. That is the date you have to pay the 10% penalty. They got me twice. 🤬
