If what you say is right then let's have a playoff similar to what FCS does.

I am just so tired of committees and pollsters making the decisions on which team gets into the CFP. It needs to be decided on the field of play. Since all 130 FBS teams can't play each other then the only fair way is to use conference championships as entry to the CFP.

I know I am tilting at windmills here. TV rules the day and would opt for Notre Dame playing Alabama every year for the national championship if they could get away with it. ABC execs are already probably quaking in their boots at the possibility of a Wake - Pitt championship game.
