I would prefer that the only way you make it to the playoffs is by winning a conference championship but I know realistically you got to leave some wiggle room therefore the 2 at large.

In that same vein polls should have no influence as possible. Perhaps the 2 at large would come from conference champ losers with the best win-loss record.
