Evaluation. If he can turn Aluma and Murphy who were unknown out of high school, imagine what he can do with guys like Rodney Rice and MJ Collins. Also lots of schools are depending on transfers from “lower programs” and if it means going to the NCAA tournament on a consistent basis who really cares where they come from.
