Given that the WAC has a couple DII schools and maybe 1 DIII school

(not sure if St Thomas is WAC or not), it may not want to rush into anything about switching subdivisions for football. At least the WAC may want to get its feet wet and soak in the the FCS subdivision before even considering making the switch. Also, the WAC may even want to see how things play out with the power conferences first because there is always the possibility that the G5s and FCS could end up in the same subdivision at some point in the future.
