Not sure what you watched.

He had 1 pick that was due to a miscommunication with the receiver because he threw it to where the receiver was supposed to be, or he thought he was supposed to be, not sure which one was wrong.. Overall, Hooker is 19th in the country in completion percentage, Burmeister is 117th. Overall QB rating Hooker is 12th in the country, Burmeister is 93rd. Hooker is 13th in TDs and Burmeister is 88th. Tennessee was down a couple of linemen in the past 2 games. I'm not saying that we would be better if Hooker was our qb. I believe it is more an indictment on our coaching staff. Tennessee has a better running game and that has lead to opportunities for the passing game. I've watched a few of their games and Hooker is deliberate with the ball and has worked through his progressions when his receiver wasn't open. He wasn't put into those positions here. Burmeister would probably be doing better with better coaching as well.
