Hooker was (and I think still is) a better passing quarterback than Burmeister. This year we have run very little read option which was Burmeister's strength. So given the offense we have been running, my guess Hooker would have been better than BB, but probably not by a lot. Could it have meant the difference in a game or two? possibly. Hooker has consistency problems and they rear their head at Tenn, and would have here - all in all it is probably better he is gone, at least we are not switching back and forth between quarterbacks.

As for Quincey, yes I agree if we let him run it 4 times from the 3 he would get in so that much is better, but for him being a more accomplished passer than BB, I can't agree with that.

Our problems run deeper than our line - it is OK at this point, not horrible. we do almost nothing to scheme our passing game so we get open looks at recievers. most of our passes are to the edge and 50/50 balls, you cant sustain success that way. that TE pass for the first touchdown is what we need more of, a nicely schemed route for a quick decision and to get someone open. Fuente has done himself and the team a disservice by not making changes to the offensive coaching staff.

my last thing on my rant... Why can't we put it all together for a game? last week the offense did pick up, but the defense went to hell... Game prep is a problem and adjustments are a problem. we can 1/2 prepare it seems but we can't put it together.
