I've been to two shows in the last month, both of which

required proof of vaccination to get in the venue. For both shows we were close enough to the stage that we could have coughed on the band and gotten them sick.

In those cases I completely understand not wanting to be around an unvaxxed audience. If somebody in the band catches COVID you have to go off the road & stop doing shows, and these days that means you don't get paid and can't support yourself.

That said, what's the point in making a crowd you already verified is vaccinated wear masks? We didn't have to do that for either show.
