I have more of a philosophical problem with all of this. I am self-employed - other than them taking a cut of my hourly wage and doing a direct deposit once per month, they effectively do nothing for me. I understand this started with the government and then went to the prime and now to the subs, and next month to me. Taxpayers are spending tens of millions of dollars across the Country right now rewriting contracts to include this language. So I will get a new contract that I will have to review and sign and so will all of the other subcontractors in my situation ... and we are all working remotely. This is a colossal waste of time and money.

Make no mistake - I will not be wearing a mask at home. I won't change a thing but to avoid losing my job I will sign the stupid amended contract and bite my tongue.
