wasn't there a "Whole Foods" or something like that there?

A) I used to work behind the building there that used to be? Marymount College, best situation ever for hitting places after work + once a week I would get on 66 and it would take me directly to my dad's house - via the 267 spur - near Wolftrap (and using the open Wolftrap entrance) things worked to a "T"

B) I had no idea where the VT stuff was.

C) Looking down Glebe I see a wall of new stuff now, used to be old neighborhoods but, none of that really matters to me now. Maybe need to hit the bbq place a few more time before that gets SIM-citied? (or is that zoned residential?)

D) Carpools and Rocklands really was the best colloration ever, best bbq at least for the DC area and I would snag a hard cider to go with it just pure happiness. Actually talked to a Rocklands guy about it who seemed to be in the know, seems the Carpool folks kicked them out of the lease. I could usually scoot over early enough to even snag a Carpools parking space but the Rocklands made it for me more than the Carpools, although it was a neat place. Nothing stays the same. I wish I could remember the place across the street in that little hidden alley, that was terrific too, guy used to be a 2 or 3 star chef downtown, just opened his own dive well kept secret, finally retired for good and sold it to some Asians. Only reason I mention that is he roasted the potatoes and I guess they didn't listen and stir-fried the potatoes, guessing they didn't respect or understand the skill and effort he was putting into that. I went one more time after than and realized it wasn't going to be the same.
