Based on who the AAC originally added, it seems like the conference
may be market driven. WKU and LA Tech don't really check that box. Also, the AAC already has Tulane, so what would be the "benefit" to having a 2nd LA school in the conference? Also, what would be the "benefit" to adding WKU and/or LA Tech over the following options?
Army: football-only
Georgia State (Atlanta, GA): full member
UAB: full member
ODU: full member
UNC-Charlotte: full member
UT-San Antonio (plays home games in Alamodome): full member
