An exhaustive explanation of everything wrong with the offense and I still haven't. I simply don't have time to write interminably long posts. For years our OC has had some great games, some where the players didn't execute on good plays and some where he is lost.
I'm not a big fan of our OLine coach at the moment as our redzone offense couldn't move wvu or even richmond. That makes things hard on an OC but Fuente has yet to admit there is an issue with anything coaching/scheme related. I disagree and I hope he doesn't actually believe that nonsense. It is not just this year and certainly not just this Pitt game.
I would even argue that we were playing a decent D and our players were beaten up (our offense does that consistently BTW especially to our QBs) against Pitt. Of course he isn't going to blame his assistants but he has no problem talking about not having his players ready to play. Owning it all would be to make staffing changes.....which he hasn't even after 2020 debacle. Maybe his plans are to take his whole staff with him to wherever he lands his next gig....one can only hope. 6 years is enough and I hate the trajectory. Time for a change......I'd even give him 2 more years if he showed willingness to make changes where necessary.....it would be a hard sell and too little too late imo. I'm done with this thread.
