My #1 requirement of a new HC before

anything related to recruiting, public selling of the program and gladhanding donors, in game coaching, etc is someone who likes to score points. Get up, stay up, and take your foot off the gas only when there is 0 chance of losing.
For my entire career as a fan, I have seen much too much conservativeness and gentlemanly playcalling where 7 or 10 is seen as enough cushion in the 2nd quarter. I want someone who wants to be a gentleman off the field but wants to run up the score a little on it. (Please note I am not wishing for a Narduzzi level of jerk on field, just someone not worried about someone’s feelings at 35-14).
