We've already hashed over Tech's dreadful offense (currently ranked #120 and plummeting, it seems....). But how about Cuse? Here's what they're bringing to town on Saturday:

Offensively, overall the Orange are right in the middle of the pack. National ranks:
Scoring offense: #62
Total offense: also #62
Rushing offense: #13 (helped by RB Sean Tucker, 2nd-leading rusher in the nation)
Passing offense: #112

Defensively, they're pretty good:
Scoring defense: #54
Total defense: #20
Rushing defense: #28
Passing defense: #25

Overall, Cuse is somewhat similar to Tech. They have an average offense, and good defense. We have a terrible offense and a good defense. This should be a close game that could come down to turnovers and special teams. Clearly we need to focus on stopping their tailback and make their QB (Miss St transfer Garrett Schrader) beat us with his arm. Should be an interesting game...
