That is not correct


You can stream anything on an ESPN channel through the ESPN app if you are subscribed to that channel through a provider (cable, Hulu, Youtube, etc).

It's the same model that most content owners have, you can't watch it on a streaming service until after it airs on the broadcast, but with the benefit of being able to stream it if you are not home and have cable.
