It's 3 games in 7 days. That's exhausting to play significant time in all 3, and there's limited subbing possible during the game. The strategy was to put out the best team in games 1 and 3 at home, and hope to get something out of game 2 on the road with mostly the second team. Clearly it didn't work well for the second game. Maybe it helps us win this third game though, we'll find out soon. There is / will be much debate over the effectiveness of Berhalter's strategies.
