I'm surprised the MAC is not interested in UMass and UConn

I know they kicked UMass out for not joining for all sports. But since there are two of them now, I think it might make sense to take them both in as football-only teams. The MAC could make the deal in their favor, like keep the CFP playoffs money between the original twelve, since that is based upon 12-team leagues anyway. And make the two provide a couple of basketball games to the group each year, etc.
