Im not yet ready to call it solid...

I really want to see N'Guessan in practice rather than in theory.

We had a kid while I was at Akron who we recruited as a shooter. He was a bigger guy (6'8) and had actually committed to Kentucky as an 8th grader. He didnt quite developed like he was supposed to and fell to us at Akron.

Anyway, kid was lights out in practice. Gave everybody work. Couldnt miss.

Game time showed up and every single time his brain just wouldnt let him shoot. It was sad to watch really because he was so talented. He had to transfer out and went to a DII school where he had a below average career.

N'Guessan was recruited as a solid shooter. He could really shoot the ball as a prospect. But then he lost all confidence last season and airballed his first one, then only shot one more all season despite teams leaving him wide open. I'd imagine teams will leave him wide open to begin with this season. If he misses a few, will he continue to shoot? I hope so.

But there are also positive indicators too. PJ Horne, Justyn Mutts and Keve Aluma all drastically improved their shooting under MY. So there is precedent.

Just gotta hope he steps up to the plate in gametime
