I agree. I think ACC needs to think outside the box a bit ..

and look to convince a high end FCS school to bump to FBS.

Perfect candidate would be Villanova. Huge basketball upside to the conference and they are a very, very good FCS football school. Making the bump wouldn't be that much of a stretch and if the conference helped support it, I think they could be reasonably successful in a short amount of time. They are well inside the ACC footprint and located in a huge media market. Academically, it is an excellent school and would fit right in with the rest of the conference.
