MY also spent 30 years learning how to run a program, lest we forget
13 years as a Wofford assistant and 18 years as the Wofford coach. Wofford is the smallest school in division 1 I believe, you have to scrap and claw for every bit of success at a program like that and community is the most important one because without it, you don't have a program.
The stars aligned for MY, there are very few coaches from the New River Valley that have as extensive of a resume as he does, albeit at a small time program. He's old enough that he doesn't have a coaching tree because Wofford can't afford to pay one so he's got no loyalty to "his" guys on staff.
