Is he setting up to invite Kansas or Connecticut? Or is he just hamming it up for the audience of college basketball media at the Big Ten Basketball Kickoff?

It is true that the Big Ten brand is not as dependent on needing more football power. They already have football branding. They have more freedom to look at a Kansas than a conference like the ACC does.
