CMY pointing out that VT is a good place to coach if you want to become a


head coach. Smart statement on his part. Just a reminder to all the prospective assistant coaches that CMY might want to hire next. VT is a good place to build your profile. No different from recruits wanting to see former players in the NBA because that is their ultimate goal. VT can help you achieve your goal as a player and as a coach. CMY is promoting his assistant for the long term good of the program. We hate to see great players leave early to the NBA, we hate to see coaches get hired away to a better job. But long term it can be good for the program.
