Question for router/network gurus

I'm installing a Verizon G3100 router. There's a WAN outlet in the back and a co-ax outlet. There are two cables coming out of the network terminal, Co-ax and Ethernet cable.
Do I connect one or the other or both?

Thanks in advance for your non-sarcastic reply.
