They are

not trying to steal Mac's thunder here, but was there a few years ago - and I recommended this a few days ago to him so I'm hurt by his Pagosa springs comment (tic) but do a little hiking and come back there and soak in the hot springs: heaven. Not only that do it later and just lay back with a million billion stars above, late summer the Northern Cross/Cygnus the Swan is directly overhead flying across the universe.

Lot of space there, kids can spread out, saw lots of them there having fun. Besides, Pagosa springs smells more like sulfer. (OK, I just stopped by, didn't spend any time there, I'm sure it's grate)
