The playoff vote expansion is going to be huge, if the 9 conferences want

an automatic bid for each conference champion, then why leave except for the TV money?

10 Conference Champion bids and 2 at large. Now ND and the SEC won’t vote for that, so they will need to wait until it doesn’t need to be unanimous. However, there is a good chance nothing changes until it doesn’t have to be unanimous anyway.
