Andrew Stover Leaves VT Softball
Per Justin's World of Softball, Andrew Stover has been hired by Ohio University as an assistant for the Bobcats.
Stover had been with the Hokies program since September 2019 as a volunteer assistant, and with apparently no room on staff to hire him full-time it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that he made this move.
He was the first-base coach and worked primarily with outfielders -- Kelsey Brown was 49/51 in stolen base attempts over two years under his coaching. Darby Trull regressed offensively last year but is an excellent defensive center fielder, and Emma Ritter is terrific in right field (she can run, has a cannon arm, and showed flashes at the plate last season).
Good luck to Andrew up in Athens!
