I remember


us saying (early 80's forward) ..."The Hokies always seem to play up, or down, to their level of competition."

We shrug it off to the human condition. it's just too much to ask of student-athletes to get pumped up to play a Directional State U.

But is it? Can these Hokies step up and soundly beat an inferior foe, while still "respecting the opponent?" I'm sure they can. I believe they will.
